About us

AmaraHealth™ is a comprehensive, ORCHA-accredited, and NHS-approved digital health tracking app developed by Cambridge-based Priority Digital Health (PDH) to support individual wellbeing, workplace health, and public and private healthcare pathways.

Uniquely, the app includes multiple trackers removing the need for time spent juggling between apps thereby providing a better overall picture of health and wellbeing.

Designed for interoperability with the PDH Case Management Platform, itself fully interoperable with Primary Care clinical systems and NHS services, the platform merges behavioural science, lifestyle tracking, and education into a secure, single, user-friendly solution.

The app is available to NHS, Local Authorities, Employers and Healthcare Providers for their patients, employees and service users in support of their free healthcare programme. Or the app is available for individuals for their personal wellbeing.

The App was the brainchild of co-founders CEO Alison Meadows and Chief Innovation and Technology Officer John Dibb. With a combined 50-year career in Advertising and Digital Marketing and a passion for health and wellbeing which led them to found PDH in 2016, Alison and John wanted a tool to put in the hands of individuals, empowering them to take control of their own health and wellbeing and where necessary use the app in partnership with an accredited health management programme.  Working with an NHS Nutritionalist to build our in-App weight course and some NHS Consultants and Data Scientist and Machine Learning experts on behaviour change along the way, PDH Head of UX/UI and AmaraHealth™ Product Manager Simon Bruce is now spearheading the growth of AmaraHealth™ into the personal Health and Wellbeing App market.

It is important to note that AmaraHealth™ is not a medical device nor intended for clinical diagnosis or emergency care.
